American Culture - National Museum Day

September 26, 2009 is the Museum free-entree Day in which Smithsonian magazine offered free admission to people with a Museum Day Admission Card for paricipating museums and cultural instittions across the country.

I was so lucky and happy to visit one museum near my place.
That day, I had a plan to go soccer game for my son, I have little time to visit a musmum. So before the day, I searched some museum which was supposed to paticipate The Naional Museum Day. Finally I found " The Kreeger Museum" just 10 minutes away from my house. The Kreeger Museum is a private museum that Philanthropist, violinist and art collector David Lloyd Kreeger and his wife shared their collections in their ex-house.

The most impressed thing was that there were many famous artists' masterpieces: Paul Cezanne, Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Claude Monet, Henry Moore, Vincent van Gogh, Edgar Degas, Mondriaan, Rodin, Renoir, and so on.
Amazing !!! How could I see such wonderful masterpieces at the same place !
I really enjoyed them. I was so lucky to see them because all works will be changed for a while due to special  exhibition plan in a week. I had certainly
good good day.

As you know, no photographt or video is permitted in the Museum. Only outside the museum is fine. I highly recommend this museum even though it
is necessary to check the exhibitions before visiting and pay 10 dollar admission fee.
